Binary Options Explained
Binary Options System .com New PostDiscover the World of Binary Options
What in the world are binary options? Well, when you invest into a binary options system, you enter into a unique and pretty new world of investing–one where you have guaranteed pre-determined payouts if you guess right, but only lose your premium if you guess wrong.
There are many forms of binary options, or “digital options” as they are also sometimes called, of various time frames and payout amounts out there. By investing in a binary options system, you will be taking advantage of an astounding new way to make potentially huge money with minimal risk.
Binary options are also sometimes called “all or nothing options”–because the winner takes it all, the loser takes away nothing. And you are either the winner or the loser every time. So, how does this work? It’s really quite simple. Imagine if you were interested in purchasing binary options–let’s say calls–for common shares of YYZ company, and there was a strike price of $60 per share with a specified binary payoff of $600. If YYZ stock is trading above $60 at the expiration date, you would receive the $600 payoff in fulfillment of your binary option contract.
On the other hand, if YYZ is trading below $60 per share at expiration, you get nothing at all. If binary options are “European style”, incidentally, the payoff is always the underlying asset value. That’s not necessarily the case for “American style” binary options contracts. Binary options contracts premiums are typically priced at $0.01 to $1 per $100 of underlying asset.
The prices of binary options typically reflect the perceived probability of underlying asset price reaching or exceeding the strike price (this is a binary option “call”) or failing to reach or exceed the strike price (the binary options world’s “puts”). Just as with traditional options, within the binary options system contracts can be liquidated–that is, bought or sold to close–before the expiration date.
According to CBOE Chairman and CEO William J. Brodsky, “CBOE’s binary options provide a straightforward way for investors to act on their views of two of the most closely followed indexes in the world, the S&P 500 and the CBOE Volatility Index. These products will appeal to the broad range of market participants, including individual investors, hedge funds and institutions, who have an opinion, one way or another, on future price movements in SPX or the VIX.”
One of the exciting things about binary options is that they can be used for dynamic hedging. Dynamic hedging is a complex trading strategy, so only if you’re an advanced trader should you think about it. But just know that if you are, or get there, the binary options system is something for you to look to.
